Tactical Bug Out Bags
A bug‑out bag (or “BOB”), is a portable survival kit designed to provide essential supplies for at least a 72‑hour period. Unlike a household emergency kit, a bug‑out bag is meant to be grabbed at a moment’s notice if you need to evacuate, so it’s typically stored by the door or in your vehicle. At OffGrid Warehouse we curate high‑quality bug‑out bags that balance capacity, durability and mobility, helping you and your family stay safe no matter what happens. Bug out Bags have many names, and are also known as get out of dodge bag (GOOD Bag), I’m never coming home bag (INCH Bag), 72-hour kit, go bag, bail out bag, SHTF bag, personal emergency relocation kit (PERK BAG), and many more.
The basics of a reliable bug‑out bag remain the same no matter where you live. Your kit should include:
Water:
At least one gallon of water per person per day, plus purification tablets or filters.
Food:
Non-perishable meals and snacks to sustain you for three days.
Mess kit & utensils:
Lightweight cups, plates and cutlery to prepare and eat meals.
Navigation & communication:
Paper maps, a NOAA radio and a fully charged LED flashlight.
Tools:
A multi-tool, fire-starting supplies and cordage to cut, fix or secure gear.
Protection & shelter:
An emergency blanket, a face mask to filter dust and a durable bag or tarp.
Medical & personal items:
A first-aid kit, prescription medications, toiletries and copies of important documents.
