Flashlight cases hold a duty light on a duty belt or outer carrier vest, keeping it secure between uses and in the same spot every time it is drawn. Cases come in bezel-up and bezel-down orientations and are sized to fit specific flashlight bodies. Patrol officers, security professionals, and first responders all rely on flashlight cases for their jobs.

Options include bezel-up and bezel-down flashlight cases, Kydex carriers, and more from top brands like Zero9 and High Speed Gear. Cases are sized for popular duty lights from brands like Streamlight, SureFire, Nightstick, and Modlite, with mounting options for a duty belt or MOLLE webbing on an outer carrier vest.

Fit depends on the flashlight. Duty lights differ in body diameter and length, so choose a case made for the specific model. Bezel-up cases carry the light with the lens end up, and bezel-down cases carry it with the lens end down, so the choice depends on how the user draws the light. Many cases have adjustable retention, often set with screws: too loose and the light can shift, too tight and the draw slows down. Belt attachments fit a range of belt widths and MOLLE attachments fit outer carrier vests, so confirm the case fits the belt or vest it will be worn on.

Pair a flashlight case with a duty flashlight, and add a compact EDC flashlight as a backup. See more duty cases for the rest of the setup, including handcuff, radio, and Taser cases.
