With over a decade of performance in the field, the original Mainframe grew to be our most trusted modular hunting platform and the foundation of the Hunt EMOD system. Over the years, it has been adopted by a wide range of users, from serious alpine hunters to top-tier professionals in the tactical and long-range competition communities.

While maintaining and building on the original concept of the Mainframe, we developed the new Mainframe II with several updates to improve how comfortable the pack feels when you start adding weight on your back. We kept all of the key features from the original frame, like the durability and the meat shelf, and added our new Cradle Hip Belt, our new Contour Shoulder Harness, and elevated load lifters. These three features drastically improve ventilation, weight distribution, and overall comfort.

Additional attachment loops on the sides of the frame and 20mm compression straps with auto-locking buckles give you extra versatility and create options for securing heavy loads close to your core. 

Whether you are a backcountry hunter or long-range tactician, the Mainframe II can be configured for any environment and comes with the same legendary durability as the first gen Mainframe.

Modularity with Hunt EMOD:

The Mainframe II functions as the backbone of your pack system, allowing you to stay flexible throughout the season. It can be paired with either the Vapor or Brooks series of packs, and will accommodate accessories like our Scabbard or Batwings.

Contour Shoulder Harness:

Mainframe II comes with our new Contour Shoulder Harness suspension system, making it easy to get an exact torso fit with unlimited height adjustment. By tailoring your fit, you can quickly improve load distribution and remove weight off your shoulders, reducing strain and discomfort. This correctly places weight on your hips and allows you to move more efficiently over long distances. Robust air-mesh padding on the harness promotes airflow and regulates your body temperature by dissipating heat as you move. Elevated load lifters allow you to adjust the pack's angle and bring the top of the pack closer to your center of gravity. With proper adjustment, you’ll have a more natural posture, and the pack will feel much lighter on your back.  

Cradle Hip Belt:

Mainframe II also comes with the Cradle Hip Belt, our most comfortable hip belt to date. A silicon print on the lumbar pad keeps your pack and clothing positioned in place during your hunt, preventing clothing from riding up and rubbing. A retention buckle keeps the belt secure around your waist, and pull-forward straps allow you to easily tighten while on the move. Rear stabilizing straps help you prevent sway, helping to increase your endurance and keep you focused on the hunt.
