Introducing the HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack from North American Rescue, the ultimate solution for preventing, managing, and treating open and/or tension pneumothorax caused by penetrating chest trauma. Its innovative design includes two individually packaged seals, providing you with the option to apply a seal to both an entry and exit wound, or to store one for later use.

NAR's unique design features three vented channels that prevent airflow into the chest cavity during inhalation while allowing air to escape through the vent channels during exhalation. This allows for blood to escape and provides a backup fail-safe system, ensuring the seal remains fully operational even if two of the three channels become obstructed.

The HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack utilizes advanced adhesive technology, ensuring superior adhesion even in adverse conditions such as when the casualty is covered in blood, sweat, body hair, or other environmental contaminants. Each seal includes a gauze pad to wipe the wound surface prior to application and is packaged in a compact, rugged, easy-to-open twin foil pouch.

The signature Red Tip Technology® red tear notches ensure high quality performance, while the large red pull tab provides a single-step peel-and-apply application. The transparent backing facilitates easy placement over the wound area, conforming to the patient's chest.

The HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack meets or exceeds the current EMS Standard of Care and TCCC & TECC Guidelines for the treatment of penetrating injuries to the chest, making it the superior prehospital chest seal. Choose the HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack for unparalleled quality and reliability in the prevention, management, and treatment of open and/or tension pneumothorax.

    Superior Product, Excellent Design

Prefer this product to other brands. The products themselves are battlefield proven and I have no hesitation in recommending same. The adhesive is reasonably aggressive, the size of the product appropriate, and the design including vents is in my opinion superior to other designs. The fact that these items come in pairs is an advantage over some others that are offered only as singles - when a 2nd patch is needed it isn't time to start looking for what isn't there.
