Litters are baskets or stretchers that are designed for use in hazardous environments or areas with obstacles that make movement difficult. They are perfect for places like tight spaces, wooded areas, and inclines. They are lightweight, yet made of tough materials, so you can safely and securely transport the injured or ill with minimal risk of them falling. North American Rescue's Responder QuikLitter™ is an economical emergency carry litter designed for quick response in casualty transfer situations, such as mass casualty events, disasters, and active shooter scenarios, as well as everyday patient movements. The litter is made of a latex-free, water-resistant woven polyethylene with signature red nylon webbing and stitching. It has a maximum capacity of 500 pounds and ten total carry handles, four on each side and one larger handle at each end, giving multiple carrying points.
